Every three years (triennially) our Diocesan Bishop and the 12th Bishop of New Jersey, The Rt. Rev. William “Chip” H. StokesR, visits every church in the diocese. These visits are meant to connect the diocese to the work of the local parishes, a time of oversight for local clergy, and a time to codify the vision and work of the whole Diocese of New Jersey.
This visit is also an important moment for the local church, as the Bishop, the representation of our historic connection to the church universal and, specifically, the Holy Spirit, officially welcomes new, professing, adult members into the church through confirmation, reception, and reaffirmation.
Join us on October 20 at the 10 AM service for Bishop Stokes’ visit, confirmations, and a time of joy and celebration.
