Our Core Values

WORSHIP

We worship God through liturgy, prayer, Scripture, and traditional music.

"Ascribe to the LORD the honor due his Name; bring offerings and come into his courts. Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness; let the whole earth tremble before him." (Psalm 96:8-9, BCP)

Hospitality

We welcome everyone as beloved children of God.

"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30, KVJ)

Fellowship

We fellowship together, united as the body of Christ and the family of God.

"Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved." (Acts 2:46-47, NRSV)

MISSION/Outreach

We share our time and resources to serve the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and communities.

"Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me...Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’"
(Matthew 25:34-26, 40, NRSV)

LIFELONG CHRISTIAN FORMATION

We are formed into the image of Christ through education, fellowship, service, and worship.

"'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" (Matthew 28:19-20, NRSV)
